After we talked about the different tips that can help you collect and manage Google Forms responses, today’s post features another equally important Google Forms resource which is Forms premade templates.  




Pre-designed templates are ready-made forms you can appropriate for a wide variety of purposes. You do not have to spend tremendous amount of time working on a form template that is already created and provided for free. You can search the template gallery, pick the form you like and customize it the way you want. 

Below are some examples of templates you may want to consider when creating: an event feedback, assessment, worksheet, course evaluation, or exit ticket. 

To access and use any of these templates, head over to Template gallery, click to expand the gallery and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Barring Event Feedback, all of these templates are nested under the label Education.


1- Exit Ticket Template


This is a handy Google Forms template to use to create exit tickets. This template includes three main questions that gauge students interaction with the taught material. More specifically, students are asked to provide answers to the one important thing they learned in class today, whether they felt prepared for the lesson (why or why not), and suggestions to help make the lesson more effective. 

2- Event Feedback Template


As its name indicates, this is a template you can use to collect feedback following an event you organized in your class or school. The template includes questions that assess respondents satisfaction with the event and its content, which sessions in the event were relevant or not and why, takeaways from the event, and many more. Use Google Forms editor to customize this event feedback template to your liking.


3- Assessment Template



This is a pretty basic template that you can use to create different forms of assessments and quizzes. In its current format, the form includes multiple choice questions and  open questions but you can use the tools on the right sidebar to add more questions and sections to your quizzes. 

4- Worksheet Template



This Google Forms template enables you to create your own instructional worksheet which you can use for various educational purposes. While the template comes with pre-defined sections  but you always have the option to edit and add as many sections as you want. You can also integrate images and multimedia materials right into your worksheet template.


5- Course Evaluation Template




Course Evaluation is a free Google Forms template that you can use to collect feedback on your teaching. Students are asked to provide responses to questions  related to course content (e.g., workload, learning objectives, course organization, etc), skill and responsiveness of the instructor, overall contribution to learning, suggestions for possible improvements of the course, and more.
