3. Notes Teacher

Notes Teacher is another good app to help you learn to read music. The app offers two modes: learn mode which is made up of 32 lessons geared towards helping you learn to read music step by step. At first you will start with two notes then work your up to more notes till you become able to read all notes. 

The practice mode ‘allows you to specify which clef (bass or treble) you want to practice, or you can practice them both at once. You will be able to choose specific groups of notes to practice. “Practice” mode will help improve your speed and accuracy making it easier for you to read music.’

Note Flash Music Sight Reading, as its name indicates, is a music app that helps you learn to sight read sheet music. The app listens to your performance (required microphone access) and detects which note you play correctly and which one you get wrong  and offers progress graphs to help yo learn how you improve.
