Bonelab the anticipated followup to VR physics sandbox adventure Boneworks (2019), is due to launch next week after a surprise release date announcement from developer Stress Level Zero. Along with the game’s release date, new Bonelab gameplay shows a unique avatar-swapping mechanic.
Developer Stress Level Zero has been quietly toiling away on Bonelab over the last few years… perhaps too quietly. So we’re surprised to see the studio today announce a sudden release date for Bonelab: next week on Thursday, September 29th. Veteran VR studio Fast Travel Games today announced it’s stepping up to publish Guardians Frontline, an upcoming strategic VR shooter from indie studio VirtualAge Games that feels a bit like the lovechild between Halo and Starcraft.
Originally released as Guardians on Meta App Lab, Guardians Frontline is aiming to launch on Meta Quest 2 and SteamVR headsets sometime in early 2023. The newly named title is said to include “updated visuals and new content.”

Quest Update Replicates One of SideQuest’s Most Useful Features, Lets Parents Block Sideloading Entirely
Quest’s v44 software update is rolling out now, and it’s serving up some long-overdue video capture options along with it, like the ability to record in 16:9 aspect ratio, and increase frame rate and bit rate for video capture.
