‘Breachers’ Studio’s Next Game is a ‘Battlefield’-like VR Shooter with 32-Player Matches

Triangle Factory, the studio behind team shooter Breachers, today revealed its next VR game: Forefront, a multiplayer shooter inspired by the Battlefield series.

The game, which supports up to 32 players, will offer vehicles of all types, including land, air and sea, letting you traverse large-scale maps for the sort of large, dynamic encounters you rarely see in VR. The studio also promises an arsenal of new weapons, vehicles, gadgets, and player classes.

VR Porting Studio Flat2VR Announces 4 More Games Getting Official VR Support

Flat2VR Studios, the team dedicated to porting flatscreen games to VR headsets, announced it has a fresh slate of four games getting the official flat-to-VR treatment.

The studio announced during the VR Games Showcase today that it’s bringing official VR versions of Out of Sight, Surviving Mars, and Postal 2 to VR for the first time. Additionally, Flat2VR says it’s also porting Shadowgate VR: The Mines of Mythrok to PSVR 2.

‘Township Tale’ Studio Reveals Upcoming Multiplayer Dungeon-crawler Extraction Game ‘Reave’

Alta, the studio behind open-world VRRPG A Township Tale (2021), revealed during the VR Games Showcase today more about its next VR game, a multiplayer dungeon-crawler called Reave.

Hitman World of Assassination is coming to PSVR 2, and we just got a fresh look at the action during the VR Games Showcase today, showing off some promising graphics that (hopefully) eclipses the series’ disastrous launch on Quest.

‘Roboquest’ VR Port Shows New Look at Gameplay and Confirms Co-op Support

Flat2VR Studios today showed off some fresh gameplay footage of Roboquest VR, its upcoming port of the titular fast-paced roguelite shooter.

Like the original flatscreen Roboquest (2023) from RyseUp Studios, Flat2VR also confirmed Roboquest VR will similarly feature two-player co-op in addition to single player campaign.

Toast Interactive announced their VR games Max Mustard (2024) and Richie’s Plank Experience (2017) have been removed from the Horizon Store for Quest. For now, it’s unclear precisely why, however the veteran indie studio says the move has left them feeling “betrayed and powerless.”
