Indie VR studio Patient 8 Games released a new trailer for Memoreum during UploadVR’s summer games showcase, revealing it’s coming a little later than planned.

Previously slated to release on Quest in September, Patient 8 has now confirmed its sci-fi space horror game Memoreum is now set to launch on the Horizon Store on October 9th, 2025.

Released on PC earlier this year, Grit and Valor – 1949 lets you command an elite squadron of tiny mechs, as you seek to topple the Evil Axis forces and liberate Europe from their legion mechanical minions.

Smart contact lens startup XPANCEO announced it’s secured $250 million in Series A funding, putting its valuation at $1.35 billion and minting it as XR’s most recent unicorn.

French language outlet MacGeneration first spotted the news via a European Commission filing, which includes a non-confidential summary of mergers and acquisitions.
